Cadence requires both parents to have a compatible smartphone (iOS or Android). We support iPhone 12+ and Android 10+. If you're unsure about compatibility, reach out before joining the waitlist.
Yes! Cadence supports adding additional caregivers to your household. Family sharing features are on our roadmap for V1.2. For now, you can share activity logs, but handoff requests are limited to two primary caregivers.
Handoff requests require internet to ensure both parents are notified. Activity logging (feeds, diapers, sleep) works without internet and syncs automatically when you reconnect. This is why we recommend always having backup plans (physical wake-ups, alarms) for critical shifts.
Apple Watch support is on our roadmap for V1.3 (planned for mid-2026). This will include quick-log complications, handoff acceptance on your wrist, and shift status at a glance.
